Goodness, has it been three and a half months already???  Oops....

So, J came home and life has taken on a new routine. We are all so happy to have him, and I don't feel like I'm trying to juggle with both arms and legs all at once. Transitioning from no time together to ALL our time together has had its rough moments, though I'd rather have it this way than to have him out of country.  Now the search is on for a job... PLEASE, something stateside open up quickly!

As for the munchkins, they are doing really well. G is excelling in reading and spelling but is struggling a bit with math. Hopefully a little extra practice and some patience will help bring her up to pace with her class. She's still doing ballet twice a week and that is going great. She just found out their May recital is going to be The Carnival of the Animals by Camille Saint-Saens and she's been very eager to share that with anyone willing to listen! She had a great Valentine's day party at school and wrote a note for her sister that was very sweet. It just said, "I LOVE YOU!"  Little Miss H is talking in short sentences now and is constantly tromping around the house in either G's or my shoes... I swear, her two-year-birthday will be SHOE themed if this keeps up! She's better at wearing my heels than I am! But she is so sweet and so loving. Tonight we had spaghetti and she asked for more Parmesan cheese. After I finished grating it she said without a prompt, "Thank you, mama."  Awww... melt my heart. Later she took her onesie off (she was already diaper-free) and raised her arms and yelled, "NAKEY!"  Then she tried to take my dress off.... oh man, the memories! Then, G spent half an hour blowing bubbles in the living room while H stomped all over the floor popping them. None of these things seems extraordinarily significant, but these are the moments that make me happy; these are the moments I wish never to forget.

Happy V-Day, everyone.
